What counts as a stream?
A stream is an inbox lane — one place where related cues land. Connectors are different: a connector (GitHub, Stripe, an MCP agent) is what feeds cues into a stream. You can point several connectors at the same stream, and connectors are never metered.
What is a cue?
A cue is a single item waiting in a stream. Most are quiet notifications — a signup, a payment, a deploy. Some are agent requests: a blocking decision an AI agent raised and is waiting on until you approve or decline.
How do AI agents fit in?
Agents connect over MCP. When one needs a human decision it raises a request and blocks until you respond from Cue. Free gets community MCP; Pro and Team get priority handling so blocking requests surface first.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The Free plan is free forever and needs no card. Upgrade to Pro or Team whenever you outgrow three streams.
Can I change plans later?
Yes — upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time. Changes take effect immediately and we prorate the difference.
